Will Phelps is a filmmaker and fly fishing enthusiast originally from the Southeast, where his passion for art and exploration first took root. As his creative ambitions began to outgrow the confines of his surroundings, he followed the call of the west to Montana—a place where his love for cinematic storytelling and fly fishing could fully converge.
Will is on a mission to redefine how fly fishing is portrayed on screen. Through striking visuals, compelling narratives, and candid conversations with seasoned anglers, he delivers content that speaks to both hardcore fly fishers and those simply drawn to the beauty of the outdoors. His work stands out for its authenticity, depth, and a clear reverence for nature.
When he's not behind the lens, you’ll find Will deep in the mountains, wading through rivers, or chasing fish in remote corners of the world. His adventures often lead him off the beaten path, driven by a DIY spirit and a relentless curiosity for the next great story.

Erika Phelps
Erika grew up in the Northeast and ventured West to Montana to attend Montana State University. She met Will shortly after moving to Bozeman and never left. Erika has a diverse history working as a Registered Nurse, Sailboat Captain, and content creator in the ski industry. Erika has been on the sidelines with Will Phelps Media since 2018 and officially joined the WPM Team in 2024 to help elevate the reach and success of our small business.
Embarking on an exciting journey into the world of filmmaking and film photography, Erika is an enthusiastic beginner eager to make her mark in the film industry. With a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for visual aesthetics, she is driven by a desire to craft compelling narratives and bring fresh perspectives to the screen.
Erika started her own YouTube Channel focused on Backcountry Ski Content, she is excited to partner with Will Phelps Media and advance her skills in filmmaking and editing.
